Wow I remember just last year before I left that Steve's wife was due to have a baby. She must have gotten pregnant as soon as she had that one. That's intense. Yeah we heard about Michael Jackson dying from people. Then as we ride through the streets every car radio is playing one of his songs, the day after it all happened. So I've had to make a bunch of calls and get things straightened out with the bills. I got a claim started with State Farm, and then passed this info onto missionary medical. Missionary medical is working with me. State farm is the company that is the carrier for the car that I had the accident with, so everything is moving forward. As I celebrate the 4th this will be the first holiday that I celebrate twice on my mission. I still remember last year like it was yesterday. I want to roast a marshmallow on the grills down by the pool at our apartment complex, but other than that there are no set plans. We should be able to see the fireworks from the city on the 3rd.
So how did spencer's soccer tournament go? I have that scripture for him. DC 62:3, there is also another set of scriptures that I found that is along the same lines. It's a scripture chain, DC 84:61-62, then read vs. 94, then 116.
Today we met the new mission President. Him and his wife both seem great. He's straight forward and down to business, but she seems a lot more "perky." In fact she reminds me of Lucy, from "I love Lucy." It will be great getting to know them all. We were also going to go to the Taste of Chicago today, but our ride changed on us and plans got changed. It was a little rainy today anyway, and I'd already been last year, but my comp had not. He didn't seem to disappointed.
OH, I wanted to see if you can find out if my OGIO backpack can be replaced. One of the zippers has the teeth all bent. There's a pack that I saw at a place out here that I want that's ogio,and it's a little smaller also. I can't remember the name of it though. Also I was wondering if on the Long sleeve shirts, since I haven't opened them, if they make any smaller sizes. Did you get me a 15? I was wondering if they make a 14.5 or something, but I can't have the sleeves any shorter. I don't know the necks on my shirts are just not as snug fitting as my past couple of companions.
Anyway, I 've thought about it and I could probably enter the Tour de' France next year, and do it in a shirt and tie. What do you think.
